Wild Blackberry are now ripening in late may.where can you find wild blackberrys in Fannin County.Try the old railroad track that paralels hwy 56. Blackberrys likes good drainage and seem to enjoy rocky topsoil. the old railroad seem to fit thie bill. On the 15th I bick a quart of berries there in less than a hour
A great outing for the family This is a great experience for kids to learn where there food comes from. They will also be surprised at how sweet and Great the flavor is of ripe off the vine food. Chrystal Opry House Bluegrass Event

A bluegrass and bluegrass gospel program will be performed by the
Circle Unbroken Jamming Club on Saturday, November 13th at 7 pm.
Two bands will perform. adopryhouse

Admission to this event is $6 for adults. Children under 12 are free
when accompanied by an adult. There are brisket sandwiches and
hot dogs in the snack bar along with drinks, popcorn and candy.

The Chrystal Opry House is located 1.5 miles west of Tom Bean or
6 miles east of Howe on FM 902 and a half mile south on White
Mound Road. No alcohol is permitted and there is no smoking
inside the building.
